The Movenpick Hotel Saigon will open on August 1st and guest will enjoy a fully renovated restaurant and rooms.

It took almost 3 years for Hilton Worldwide to finish the $150 million restoration in Washington Hilton Hotel. Executives of Hilton Worldwide are pleased to announce that the restoration has been completed and that the hotel welcomes guests.
Managing Partner Bobby Turner said:“When we purchased the hotel in 2007, we made a commitment to make the necessary investments to restore this hotel and position it for success for decades to come.”

Carlson Hotels has recently announced the opening of its 13th Park Inn hotel in the United States.The new Park Inn Houston North Hotel & Conference Center will be the second hotel to open in Dallas.
Steve Mogck, executive vice president for Park Inn commented: “Park Inn, a leading, award-winning mid-scale brand in Europe and the Middle East, has great potential in North America.”

The well-known chain of hotel, Marriott, will open its first hotel in the Balkans, Macedonia. The hotel will open in late 2013.
This will be the first Marriott in the area and the 180-room Skopje Marriott Hotel will be managed under Divelo Group Dooel.
The hotel will be located in the heart of downtown, in Macedonia’s capital city. More news to be developed when construction begins.

Jal Hotels Co., Ltd., has announced the opening of the Nikko Hotel International chain in China. The hotels are under construction, and they will be ready to open by October 2010.
“Hotel Nikko Suzhou will be in the center of a high-tech industrial development zone. With 29 stories and 475 rooms, it will include multiple restaurants, banquet and meeting rooms, a pool, fitness center, spa, and a business center. ”
“The hotel will be part of a new urban complex under development that features a mixed-use of office buildings, apartments and a shopping center.”

According to a new press release, Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Brayford Hotels to open a Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln, United Kingdom.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for Hilton Worldwide in Europe and Africa commented:“The new Doubletree by Hilton, Lincoln will be another great addition to our U.K. portfolio of nearly 90 hotels, where we are consistently growing our multiple brand presence in a variety of locations.”

The Disneyland Hotel has recently announced the restoration of its pool are and the adding of new dinning locations to its properties.

According to a recent press release, Best Western has partnered with HotelsCombined.com, which it will help Best Western to generate more traffic.

Marriott International has recently announced its strategy for developing within the next 5 years in China. As everybody knows, China is the largest market outside the United States, and Marriott International is betting everything on that fact.
J.W. Marriott Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Marriott International commented:”China is arguably the world’s most compelling tourism market today. Its buoyant tourism industry will host 2.1 billion domestic and international tourists this year, an increase of 12 percent over 2009.”
He also said: “Within the next 10 years,China is expected to be the world’s single largest source of international tourism and its number-one travel destination.”
