The Anchorage at the Lake wants you and your entire family to enjoy all that it has to offer, including your four legged family member. The Anchorage at the Lake now offers Pet Friendly Cabins . Please be advised that not all cabins allow pets therefore advance reservations are required. A twenty dollar ($20.00) pet fee will be charged per pet per day. Strict pet policies will be enforced. Although the Anchorage is closed for the season, we are working harder than ever to make next season a great experience for our guests. We are looking into having family fun games on our large deck, such as Guitar Hero contests, along with bonfires and movies. We know how much our guests enjoy relaxing on the beaches during the day; these new activities will give them something to look forward to in the evening.
Also this winter, we will be making improvements to our cabins to make them more comfortable for our guests. Painting and upgrading the cabin features are just a few of the changes we will complete, as we are always working hard to enhance your stay at The Anchorage. We will begin the improvements with our two bedroom lakefront cabins since they are our most popular. The large beach in front of them gives the guest the freedom to hear the loons in the morning and enjoy the views from their cabins throughout the day.

Here at Anchorage at the lake, we are enjoying the gorgeous fall foliage, or shall will call it, “Fall”iage because the leaves are everywhere! Of course, having fun in everything we do is a must at The Anchorage! The crisp, fresh air coming off Lake Winnisquam and the unque smells and sounds of the leaves rustling together creates an almost heavenly atmosphere.
It’s never too early to plan ahead. We are taking reservations for the 2010 season, so please email us at theanchorage01@aol.com or make your reservation online from our website. We will be accepting deposits after January 1st. We make it convenient, pay 50% at the time of booking and the other 50% 30 days prior to check in.

This season is wrapping up and it’s hard to believe another summer has already flown by. Though the cabins are sealed up for the winter out website remains one of the best resources for planning a vacation in the New Hampshire Lake Region and it stays open year round.
Of course we have all the information you’ll need to plan a family reunion, vacation or other getaway at our rustic and charming grounds but that isn’t all. You’ll find information on all of the Lake Winnisquam area attractions as well as other fun things to do and places to visit in the surrounding Lake Regions area.
