Taj Mahal Hotel Had Warning
The Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, India, one of the main targets of the terrorist attacks, had been warned of a possible attack, its chariman said on Saturday.
The hotel increased security based on the report, but those measures were eased shortly before the attacks took place. Regardless, the measures would not have been able to stop the gunmen from entering, he said.
If I look at what we had … it could not have stopped what took place,” Tata said in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that will air Sunday.
“It’s ironic that we did have such a warning, and we did have some measures,” Tata said, without elaborating on the warning or when security measures were enacted. “People couldn’t park their cars in the portico, where you had to go through a metal detector.”
The gunmen entered through the back entrances, not the portico, meaning these measures would have been futile.

After working for that culture, their attitude seems to be why take preventative measures to avoid a disaster; there will always be another unsuspecting fool walking through the door.
