WORLDHOTELS Introduces Criteria for Green Hotel Quality Tests
WORLDHOTELS, a leading global group of independent hotels, is introducing 23 environmental criteria to its quality checks. This is to encourage the green-friendly standards in its member hotels.
The criteria will include assessment of things like use of energy-efficient light bulbs, organic in-room bath amenities and double-glazing. Other items range from towel and linen re-use programs to using organic cleaning products in the hotel.
Besides these items, WORLDHOTELS also assess every detail from room furnishings to restaurant quality and spa amenities, plus the staff’s level of service quality.
